I should have redesigned my resume months ago. It's been what, two weeks since I did it and I have had 3 callbacks followed by 2 interviews on the past 4 jobs I've applied for with my resume. Before that I'd probably applied for about 50 with maybe one or two "no thank you" e-mails, and now I've just been hired for an IT job that I will be officially starting Tuesday. It's an 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM job, but I don't mind. They were apparently impressed enough with how fast I got firefly.kicks-ass.org up and running that they are going to see if they can get me in on extra hours Thursdays to maintain their webserver. I'm pretty ecstatic right now.

I just realized I never wrote up a post for this year's E3 impressions like I usually do. I'm not going to. Starcraft 2 is going to suck and that's all that mattered so everything else is going to suck as well.

Alright, so. Sometime soon, after finals are over, I would like to have an... event. I say event because it is longer than a "get-together" or a party. I have, ready to be streamed to my TV, all three of the LOTR extended editions in high definition. I am also downloading all 4 of the currently released Harry Potter movies in high definition.
I would like to buy lots of cheetohs and maybe some tortilla chips and nacho cheese and have people over to play an entire game of Descent whilst watching either the entire LOTR series or all of the currently released Harry Potters. I think Harry Potter might be more appropriate given the impending release of 5 and also because, albeit there is one more in the series, I think the runtime is still slightly shorter than all the LOTR's (each of which clock in at an average of 4 hours)
Who thinks this is a good idea?

I just spent something like 2-3 hours working on a homework assignment under the assumption that it was due tomorrow morning (as in 7 hours from this posting) because I didn't bother reading the due date on it to see that it is in fact due on Thursday. OH WELL AT LEAST IT'S ALMOST DONE RIGHT?!?
Also: My Bloody Valentine, in 3D, is worth a trip to the theaters when you are supposed to be (but actually not really if you check your due dates) doing homework. Terrible, an absolutely wretched, train wreck of a movie. In other words: hilarious, great fun for everyone.

We were asked to write 150 words on what we "hoped" to do with our lives after we graduate with our degrees in my PHY 420 class. I started typing mine out on LJ, simply because I thought this would be the more appropriate medium for the end product (which ended up being almost 300 words, btdubs).

I spent something like 6 hours today trying to design a spacecraft in LittleBigPlanet that would automatically stabilize itself midflight. The sensor I've been using to control the stabilizing thrusters involved a balloon and some magnets. I think I need a more sensitive mechanism for detecting shifts in the axis of my craft's inertial plane relative to the ground. I'm going to try combining the balloon with another sensor made out of golf balls and rubber bands tomorrow.

It's funny that the best way most Americans see fit to demonstrate that race isn't an issue is by making as big of a deal as possible over the fact that our president is black. Today was not a historic day. It will be a historic day when a black president is elected and people are excited for his policies instead of his skin color.

Finally finished Professor Layton. There were three or four puzzles in this game that were downright wrong. What I mean by this is that there were either more solutions than those that the game accepted as solutions, or the solution was, in fact, just completely incorrect. I'm gonna make a vlog, maybe.
edit: I just went back and counted. Seven puzzles. There are seven wrong puzzles in Professor Layton. The entire game is based solely on imposing the idea that Professor Layton is a fucking genius and everyone in this mysterious village is clever as shit and there are seven puzzles with incorrect or incomplete solutions. Fuck you Professor Layton, fuck you.

Google chrome breaks my page layout :(
I found a good voice modulator and now play the part of a little boy on team fortress 2. I can't decide if I want to keep being pre-pubescant annoying child, or 16 year old gamer girl. I think I'm going to keep doing the little boy setting simply because as a girl, I'd probably just get hit on like crazy, which would be like a reverse troll.
